Celebrate With JA

Join us this month as we highlight our employees who are celebrating a birthday or their JA anniversary!

We had a great time celebrating our employees who have birthdays and JA anniversaries this July! More specifically, our team got together to celebrate Greg Ransom, Account Executive, Brea Blackwell, SBU Coordinator, Emilee Hannum, SBU Account Manager, and Mike Fidler, Financial Consultant.

Greg has worked in the industry for over 30 years. The majority of his experience is in the Third Party Administration area. He’s worked in sales, service, and operational capacities, working with claims, eligibility, and medical review units. He has been involved in the Preferred Provider network and prescription benefit manager contracting.

Brea worked in a home care agency providing billing services through Medicaid, VA, Area Agencies and other private entities, for nearly 10 years! She took a brief hiatus after having her first child before beginning her path to finding her permanent career. She found a new knowledge of insurance and patient needs in an unexpected role with a doctor’s office. That position led Brea to strive toward wanting a deeper contribution in that type of role and being employed at JA.

Emilee has over 10 years of customer service experience. She provides timely and elite-level support responses on client service issues, involving but not limited to billing, eligibility, and claims review, by creating solutions, troubleshooting, and delivering service responses quickly with valuable results.

At JA Benefits, Mike is an Advisor, while also teaching insurance principals to peers in the industry. He has taught through Continuing Studies at Indiana University and Ivy Tech College, allowing him to assist individuals and businesses in planning their savings, retirement, and risk management programs.
