Mike Fidler

Financial Consultant


Michael T. Fidler (Mike) began his career in the insurance and financial services industry in 1988.

At JA Benefits, Mike is a Financial Consultant, while also teaching insurance principles to peers in the industry. He has taught Continuing Studies at Indiana University and Ivy Tech College, along with client audiences of schools and non-profits. This allows Mike to assist individuals and businesses in planning their savings, retirement, and risk management programs.

Mike is also a two-time past president (2000 and 2007) of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), as well as being an educator for LUTCF programs for Life and Disability income training to other professionals.

Mike attended Indiana University and the Purdue Insurance Institute. Shortly after, he received the designation of LUTCF (Life Underwriting Trainings Counsel Fellow, and became securities licensed. As of today, Mike has passed three securities exams and holds 6, 63, and 65 registrations. Mike continues to educate himself and his clients in the art of behavioral finance.

Within his community, Mike participates in B2B (Business to Business) network as a current mentor to new members and a two-time past president. Additionally, Mike is actively involved with Clothe-A-Child and other local charities, as well as being on the board of Cause for Paws, a charity sponsored by WBED 90.1 FM.

In his spare time, Mike is a family man and a grateful husband to his wife, Crystal. He spends much of his non-business hours helping out with his grandchildren, attending their educational and sporting events. He and his wife enjoy finding time to exercise regularly.
