We had a great time celebrating our employees who have birthdays and JA anniversaries this past Month! More specifically, our team got together to celebrate Chris Johnson, Partner, Chairman and CEO, who was celebrated for being a part of our JA Magic for 16 YEARS, Cory Johnson, Partner and Benefits consultant, who was celebrated for being a part of our JA Magic for 10 Years, and Brian Lake, an Account Executive, who was celebrated for being a part of our JA magic for 1 Year!
Chris is Partner, Chairman, and CEO of JA Benefits. In December of 2009, Chris became a partner in the firm, became President in January 2015, and advanced to CEO and Chairman in 2019. As Partner, Chairman, and CEO of JA Benefits, Chris splits his time between consulting and overseeing operations of the firm. His role as a benefits advisor includes consulting on employee benefit programs, wellness and disease management, employee advocacy, consumer-driven health plans, pharmacy, and worksite benefits programs.
Cory is a Partner and Benefits Consultant at JA Benefits. Cory is an experienced Benefits Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. With his strong entrepreneurship and professional skills in Asset Management, Start-ups, Financial Structuring, Health Insurance, and Risk Management, he hopes to help companies take back control of their benefits.
Brian is an Account Executive at JA Benefits. In the year 2000, Brian began working with employers of all sizes when he joined SIHO (Southeastern Indiana Health Organization). He worked with them to purchase fully-insured plans or self-funded services. In 2007, Brian moved to CMCS (Cooperative Managed Care Services). There, he worked directly with employers in the self-funded market, where they customized plans and networks for each plan.
