Lyna received her degree at Indiana-Purdue University at Indianapolis, and she has a certification in Excel.

As for her community involvement, Lyna and her family have participated in the MS Walk in several locations.

Lyna is married to her husband, Jay, and has three daughters, two grandsons, and one granddaughter!
