His hobbies include macro investment analysis and understanding how markets work together, as well as gardening (with growing Marigolds being a favorite), a round of fair weather golf with friends, and archery with his children.

J.W. and Stephanie love traveling and exploring new places, cultures, and foods. Some of the exciting places they’ve visited include the Pyramids of Teotihuacan near Mexico City, indigenous coffee fields and the Poas volcano in Costa Rica, and the streets of Krakow, Poland. Within the US, favorite experiences include climbing a cliff dwelling in Mesa Verde, Colorado, watching the salmon run upstream on the Kenia Peninsula in Alaska, photographing the scenery in Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, and visiting plantations in Charleston, South Carolina.
