He later pursued and received a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, focusing on Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship.

Cory excelled in the subject of business, and he continued to pursue his passion outside of college, receiving several certifications and awards. These included his Indiana Health and Life License, the completion of the BMO Capital Markets Relationship Management Development Program, and becoming a founding team member of the Financial Sponsors Loan Program.

Beyond his career, Cory is an active participant in community and family activities. Two of his favorite community activities to be involved in is being a Lawrence County Economic Growth Council Member and being part of the DePauw Alumni Tennis Association.

At home, Cory and his family love the outdoors. He and his wife, Jane, and kids, Wilder and Eleanore, along with their dog, Lola, love to ride bikes, camp and hike. Cory enjoys mountain biking and traveling internationally with his wife – having explored South Korea, Japan, Hungary, Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK, thus far.
