This month’s Dish features Brian Lake, an Account Executive here at JA Benefits.
In 2000, Brian began working with employers of all sizes when he joined SIHO (Southeastern Indiana Health Organization. He worked with them to purchase plans or services. When Brian moved to CMCS (Cooperative Managed Care Services) in 2007, he began working directly with employers to customize plans and networks.
Brian is involved in various community and church organizatoins. During Brian’s free time, he enjoys being outdoors, whether it be playing sports, hunting, or fishing.
Brian’s favorite recipe to enjoy is homemade Chili!
Ingredients:
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 3 cans (drained) medium spiced chili beans
- 1 can of (drained) diced peppers and tomatoes
- 1 packet of J.R. Mad’s Chili Mix Seasoning
How to Make:
- Brown 2 pound of lean ground beef and drain liquid.
- After browning the ground beef, add to a pot of the two cans of tomato sauce, one can of tomato paste, three cans of chili beans, one can of diced peppers and tomatoes and one packet of seasoning mix.
- Heat over medium heat 10-15 minutes and then simmer 15-30 minutes.
