This month’s Dish features Michelle Anderson, an Account Manager here at JA Benefits.
Michelle joined the JA Benefits team in April 2008. In the past 9 years, Michelle has worked with JA Benefits’ large group employers, helping them through benefit renewals, quoting, and day-to-day activity.
She enjoys the outdoors, watching her children play ball, reading, and decorating.
Homemade Chili
Michelle loves dining in with this homemade chili recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of Lean Hamburger
- 2 cans of Chili Magic Chili Starter
- 1 can of Regular Tomatoes
- 1 can of Rotel Tomatoes
- 2-3 cups of water
- 1/2 onion
- 1 green pepper
- ¾ c of noodles
- Salt & pepper to taste
How to make it:
Cut onion and green pepper into small pieces and add to hamburger. Cook until brown, drain, then add tomatoes and cook on high until boiling. Add water to your likeness of soupiness. Reduce temperature to simmer and cook for 2 hours, add noodles a half hour before chili is done.
Ruth’s Chris, Indianapolis, Indiana
Michelle’s favorite restaurant is Ruth’s Chris in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her favorite dish is the Fillet Mignon, cooked medium, with a loaded baked potato and a side salad with ranch.
