JA Announces Account Executive Recieves Her CEBS Designation
Bedford, IN (March 17, 2020) – JA Benefits, one of Indiana’s leading employee benefits broker-consulting firms, is excited to announce that Sue Dukeman, account executive at JA, has received her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.
The CEBS designation is a credential that recognizes the depth and relevance of critical knowledge achieved by a benefits advisor. The CEBS curriculum pulls from the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) curriculum to build a total benefits perspective. This designation is achieved by successfully completing all five required courses and passing exams.
“I am excited and honored to receive this designation,” Dukeman said. “A lot of hard work and time went into completing this designation. I started the journey over 2 years ago and am delighted to see it through. I am also grateful for the support and encouragement I received from my fellow co-workers at JA.”
Since joining the JA Magic in December of 2017 as an Account Executive, Dukeman has demonstrated her expertise and eagerness to help employees confidently navigate through the complexities of their benefits. Dukeman began her career as a Financial Advisor/Insurance Specialist. Before joining JA Benefits, she served as a Retirement Plan Consultant/Plan Administrator at Indiana University for 9 years.
Outside of the office, Sue enjoys gardening, hiking, and quality time in the kitchen as a Sous Chef for her husband. She is also a die-hard Hoosier sports fan. Dukeman came to Bloomington IN to attend Indiana University. After graduation she, like man others, decided to make Bloomington her home.
